ECM System Solutions has introduced system for Technical Documentation Management - BlueCielo Meridian in Považská Cement factory in Ladce.
Považská cement factory is a major producer of clinker, various types of cement and cementitious products. The production over 800, 000 tons a year is a commitment for the owner and it requires maintenance of production equipment which is reliable, functional and without any unnecessary downtimes or unplanned shutdowns.
During the work and maintenance it is inevitable that workers who come into contact with documentation had essential technical information.
We can use central repository of documentation for that, in which we store all necessary documentation of individual production facilities.
The environment, that we have prepared based on customer’s requirements, became the source of information about ongoing projects and the construction project documentation is being managed in hierarchical structure, which is how Building Act requires it.
The objects, which are the focus of maintenance, were taken over to the central repository from a system which was used for the management of maintenance Infor EAM.
The documents describing particular equipment are being placed into the system. Connections between documents and objects are added either manually or generated automatically. This management functions of multi-dimensional relations between objects and documents are essential for AIM (Asset Information Management).
Digitalization of archives is another turning point in the development of increasing the quality of documentation with objects. It will add more information to the system. After this particular phase should follow a complete integration with Infor EAM system based on complete synchronization of objects of this system for maintenance management. The next move should be connecting the objects with appropriate documentation through common interface.
We wish the best to the Považská Cement factory in the further usage of the implemented system and we also believe that the constructed environment becomes a source of valuable information and knowledge for future generations.
